I am a second year PhD student at the University of Washington, where I am fortunate to be advised by Professor Amy J. Ko. My research focuses on understanding how multilingual students can utilize non-English languages in their CS learning, primarily by leveraging culturally-responsive pedagogies and language technologies. I am also interested in exploring how technologies, including software, can equitably represent and support all cultures and languages.

I received my Bachelor's of Science in Computer Science from Duke University in 2025. At Duke, I was advised by Professor Kristin Stephens-Martinez. I graduated Summa Cum Laude and received the highest distinction for my honors thesis, which evaluated the relationships between student modality, discussion, and learning from peer instruction in a hybrid computing course.
