About Me
I am a NSF Graduate Research Fellow at the University of Washington, advised by Prof. Amy Ko.
My research is in Computer Science (CS) Education. My current work focuses on integrating non-English languages into CS classrooms, particularly at the post-secondary level.
I am also broadly interested in designing culturally-responsive pedagogy, learning technologies, and curriculum that are sustainable in larger courses.
I received my Bachelor's of Science in Computer Science from Duke University. At Duke, I was advised by Prof. Kristin Stephens-Martinez. I graduated Summa Cum Laude and received the highest distinction for my honors thesis, which evaluated the relationships between student modality, discussion, and learning from peer instruction in a hybrid computing course.
