About Me

I am a senior at Duke University, advised by Prof. Kristin Stephens-Martinez.
I am interested in Computing Education Research (CER) and hope to pursue a Ph.D. in Computer Science. My research interests lie in providing equitable access to computer science education and hope to design culturally relevant pedagogy, learning technologies, and curriculum that are sustainable in larger courses. I successfully defended my honors thesis, which examined student modality, discussion, and learning from peer instruction across modalities of hybrid computing courses, in November 2024 and will be graduating with highest distinction in Spring 2025. My other active research projects focus on the fairness of online computer science assessments and the impact of ecological belonging interventions on introductory programmers.
